MARQUETTE, Mich. (WLUC) – Governor Gretchen Whitmer announced Wednesday she will be leading a five-day investment mission to Norway and Switzerland next week to focus on attracting job-creating business investments.
According to a press release, the trip marks the first economic development visit to Europe under the governor’s administration and the first-ever governor-led mission to Norway in recent history. Additionally, it’s the first Michigan governor trip to Switzerland since 2016. The trip will also include a stop in Zurich.
